ABOUT US

Professional Tree & Turf Equipment has been serving the professional green industry from Arvada, Colorado for over 40 years. We supply, fabricate, and service commercial spraying equipment for arborists, lawn care operators, pest control operators, turf professionals, and municipal customers across the Front Range. We are a small, knowledgeable team and our customers rely on us — not just for product, but for expertise.

THE ROLE

This is a customer-facing inside sales and counter sales position at the center of our business. You will handle inbound sales inquiries by phone, email, and in person — building quotes, identifying parts, processing orders, and helping customers find the right solution for their equipment needs. You will also be the person who keeps service customers informed through the repair process, from intake through invoicing and pickup. No two days look exactly the same.

This is not a passive order-taking role. Our customers are professional operators with real technical needs. The right person asks good questions, learns the product line, and becomes someone customers call back by name.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and walk-ins for parts, equipment, and product inquiries

Build quotes and process orders for equipment, parts, and supplies

Help customers identify unknown parts from descriptions, photos, or physical samples

Support customers from equipment drop-off through repair completion — intake, status updates, invoicing, and pickup

Conduct basic parts research to support our shop technicians

Process outbound orders and receive incoming shipments

Keep operations organized and running smoothly across a small team

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

Strong customer service orientation — professional, responsive, and reliable

Counter sales, inside sales, or parts sales experience preferred; strong customer service background considered

Organized and process-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable in a small business environment where roles overlap

Basic computer skills — email, web research, order entry

Preferred — any of these will make you stand out:

Experience at a landscape supply, irrigation supply, ag supply, equipment distribution, or similar business

Familiarity with the professional green industry — arborists, LCOs, pest control, turf, or municipal

Parts identification experience from any industry

Any background with pumps, spray equipment, engines, or related components

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$22.00 – $26.00/hr depending on experience

401(k) with company match

Paid time off

8 paid company holidays

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — no evenings, no weekends

Medical insurance NOT currently provided
